HH-799 Chromium-Free Passivation Agent
HH-799 is a chromium-free passivation agent suitable for pre-sandblasting surface oxidation prevention on aluminum profiles and die-cast aluminum alloys. Developed in response to increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements, this product contains no heavy metals or nitrites, making it fully environmentally friendly and pollution-free in compliance with national environmental regulations. The resulting passivation film effectively enhances adhesion between the aluminum substrate and subsequent coatings while improving corrosion resistance. After passivation, the bare surface of die-cast aluminum exhibits neutral salt spray resistance of 48–96 hours, whereas aluminum profiles achieve even higher resistance—96–168 hours for the bare surface—and coated parts can withstand neutral salt spray for 1,200–1,500 hours, all at a relatively low cost.

【Process Flow】
Workpiece to be processed—degreasing—rinsing with clean water—surface conditioning—rinsing with clean water—passivation—clean-water rinsing—(optional) (ultrapure-water rinsing)—drying.
【Instructions for Use】
After surface conditioning, the workpiece is directly immersed in an 8–10% HH799 chromium-free passivation solution for 8–15 minutes.

【Application Areas】

【Precautions】
1. Thoroughly clean the tank before preparing the bath solution.
2. Salt spray testing is required, or coating is best applied after passivation and a 24-hour standstill.
3. Drying temperature: 65°C–120°C.
[Handling, Storage, and Transportation]
Storage: During storage at ambient temperature, the packaging drums shall be kept tightly sealed to prevent the ingress of water or other foreign matter. When stored in clean, covered, and appropriately sized containers, this product will not present any operational, handling, or storage difficulties. Protect against freezing and avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold.
Packaging: 25 kg per drum, packaged in plastic drums.
